Public Works Director - Saturday, April 6, 2019

The Town of Fredonia is seeking a full-time Public Works Director.  You can obtain an application and job description on line at www.fredoniaaz.net or from the Town office.  Any questions, contact Shannon Lathim at 928-643-7241.


The Town of Fredonia has job openings for the following positions:

Pool Manager (at least 18), Assistant Pool Manager (at least 18), and Lifeguards for the Fredonia Pool. Must be 15 years old or older by May 1, 2019. Previous lifeguard experience preferred. CPR certified or able to obtain certification. Current certification as Lifeguard by the Red Cross or able to obtain certification. Will also need to be able to perform certain maintenance duties. SUMMER SOFTBALL - Tuesday, March 19, 2019

The Town of Fredonia is currently accepting proposal letters for its Summer Softball Program. This position is in the form of an independent contractor and will be a two year contract. The Softball Supervisor/Concessionaire job consists of supervising and organizing the softball season, compiling schedules and acting as the primary contact for all of the teams. The Concession stand must be operated under Coconino County Health Department guidelines. Proposal letters must be received by 5/02/2019. ·         Salary range $33,280 to $35,000 DOE

Requirements to apply

·         21 years of age

·         High school Diploma or GED equivalent

·         Reside within 15 miles of Fredonia, after completion of AZ police academy

·         Must be of good moral character, be in good physical condition, no felony convictions

·         Must hold a valid AZ driver’s license prior to appointment

·         Applicant must undergo and successfully pass physical agility test, written exam, and oral exam

Fredonia Historical DVD Now Available - Tuesday, September 7, 2010

The Fredonia Historical Society is proud to present a remarkable centennial collection of historical black and white photographs.  The DVD is only $25 and is available at the library and Town Office.  Also available is the History of Fredonia book for only $10.  There is also a Cookbook available!
