Council Meeting Cancelled - Monday, February 11, 2019

The Council Meeting scheduled for 2/12/19 has been cancelled.  The next Council meeting will be held 2/26/19.

Are you interested in a rewarding and challenging career in law enforcement?  The Fredonia Marshal’s Office is encouraging men and women to apply for the position of Deputy Marshal.  We are a professional, progressive agency committed to providing quality police service to the community.


·         Salary range $30,200 to $35,000 DOE

·         13 paid holidays

·         25 year retirement

Requirements to apply

·         21 years of age

·         High school Diploma or GED equivalent

·         Reside within 15 miles of Fredonia, after completion of AZ police academy

·         Must be a US Citizen

·         Must be of good moral character, be in good physical condition, no felony convictions

·         Must hold a valid AZ driver’s license prior to appointment

·         Applicant must undergo and successfully pass physical agility test, written exam, and oral exam

·         Background screening prior to appointment to include background investigation, medical exam by a licensed POST certified physician, drug screen and polygraph examination.

As you may know, there are several Town Committees that are short members.  If you are interested or know of anyone that may be, PLEASE, feel free to submit a letter of interest to the Town Office.  For more information call 928-643-7241.

Council Meetings - Tuesday, December 4, 2018

Due to the Christmas holiday, there will only be one Council meeting in December.  It will be held on December 11, 2018.  

Council meetings for January 2019 will be held on Tuesday January 15, 2019 and Tuesday January 29, 2019.

Fredonia Historical DVD Now Available - Tuesday, September 7, 2010

The Fredonia Historical Society is proud to present a remarkable centennial collection of historical black and white photographs.  The DVD is only $25 and is available at the library and Town Office.  Also available is the History of Fredonia book for only $10.  There is also a Cookbook available!

Historical Society Needs Your Help - Wednesday, November 3, 2010
The Fredonia Historical Society is seeking histories of Fredonia and its people from pioneer times to the present.  The histories will be stored in the Society's Archive Collection as a permanent record of our community.  Anyone interested in submitting histories contact VeRene Tait at 643-7223.
