Fredonia is the gateway to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. The North Rim area offers trails for hiking, biking, horseback riding, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing. Fredonia is located along the northern border of Arizona on Hwy 89A. It is 7 miles south of Kanab, Utah and about 75 miles north of the Grand Canyon.
