Library

Library exterior

The Fredonia Public Library was organized by the local Women’s Club in 1958.  With an initial donation of 300 books, the library was up and running, staffed by the Women’s Club and community volunteers.  Over the years the library was moved four times, closing down once for one year when no space could be found to house the books.  What started as a modest project in 1958, blossomed into a gathering place for the entire community where literature, information, technology, and fun can be shared by everyone.
